Human Movement Science and Biomechanics with the art of program design that is specific to you.

Each person has a different ability level, possible limitations and experiences that makes them unique.

Using our exclusive evaluation and Rehabilitation-Corrective Exercise Training Program, we have helped numerous people recover and eliminate work-related, sport-related, overuse and repetitive-type injuries.  As well as the nagging aches and pains that "pop-up" or are a result of an injury that occured months or years ago.

The body can be viewed as a kinetic chain, meaning everything is linked together, and what happens at one joint will affect others.  If there are muscular imbalances present in your body, this means that you are at a higher risk to getting injured while working out, playing sports, working around the house or simply playing with the kids.

Muscular imbalances develop as a result of a variety of factors that include, but are not limited to: sedentary lifestyle, current or past injury, prolonged sitting and/or standing, such as at work, driving or performing normal daily activities.

Certain muscles or groups of muscles become either weak or tight which often changes how the muscles or groups of muscles are recruited to perform a desired action such as squating down to pick something off the floor, raising your arm overhead to put the dishes away or simply, walking.

These compensations in movements are generally subtle, but over an extended period of time can lead to:

Low back pain - knee pain - shoulder stiffness - arthritis - joint inflammation - Sciatica ---the list can go on and on.

Through our training and education on body mechanics, many of our clients have taken on a"move better, live better" philosophy and are no longer victims of past injuries and old age.
